Snooker
- Recently both tables have
been re-covered and are in excellent condition, and the lighting on each of the tables has been uprated.
- The snooker room is now warm all year round thanks to new double glazing and insultation above the ceiling.
Bowling
- After continued hard work by members and the Groundsman, the green is now in an excellent condition
and provides a first class playing surface, much admired by members and visiting teams.
- New members are always welcome and we have a bowling only category, at a reduced rate, for those
who just want to bowl and use the bar during the summer period (April 1st to September 30th).
Grants
In the recent past we have been lucky enough to secure funding from several sources:
- Pointing to Gable wall.Grants provided by Newcastle Borough Council,(Community Chest -Sue Akers Marsh Hall Community Centre) and Staffs. County Council (Councillor Sandra Hambleton)
- Redecoration to Snooker Room.Grant provided by Staffs.County Council (Councillor Sandra Hambleton).
- Re.rendering to boundary wall,Grants provided by Red Industries and the Landfill Communities Fund.
- Refurbishment of snooker tables, lighting and equipment.Grant provided by Staffs County council (councillor John Cooper).




Youth Membership
- Young people are encouraged to join the club. If you are interested but do not feel
confident to come along on your own, bring a parent, guardian or older friend, or contact
the Secretary
- We can always arrange for free tuition for bowls and snooker, i.e. we
hope to help you learn how to play!

- We are looking for offers of sets of woods for the youth members, so
if any member has a spare set please let one of the committee know
